This is a now page. I intend to maintain this page to summarize what's currently going on in my life and what I'm up to. You should make your own too!

## 💍 I'm Married

I'm ecstatic to share that I got married to the love of my life on 22nd of November, this year!

It's been a rollercoaster of emotions this second half of the year. Especially with the influx of work I have on my plate, juggling marriage and all its responsibilities is a beast of a challenge I didn't see coming at the beginning of the year.

That said, it was one of the most natural and confident decisions I have ever made. I am lucky and blessed to be able to spend the rest of my life with my best friend and my better half ❤️.

## Job

I currently live in Kuwait. I work full time as a Senior Engineer (Solutions Architect) for a Telecommunications company, leading multiple projects such as:

• Magento eCommerce platform for the company's website
• DevSecOps to improve development workflow with security in mind, including GitOps and Infrastructure-as-Code with the adoption of OpenShift
• PowerBI extending the scope of my role to monitor and provide proactive business insights post go-live of projects.
• AI Adoption with the recent addition of GitLab Duo to enhance developer experience across our DevSecOps stack

## Hobbies

I love to learn and write (as you can tell). I always believe that the best way to learn something is to summarize it in your own words. That's why I decided to publish a blog to share the things I learn and build.

My biggest passion is football ⚽. One of my goals is to volunteer (or get hired) as a youth football coach. It would allow me to get more playtime while also giving back to the community and building the next generation(s) of stars.

## Side Gigs

I am currently working on launching a business for an app within the next year. It's essentially a ZocDoc clone for Kuwait and MENA region for safely and professionally book appointments for clinics, hospitals, practices, salons, healthcare, etc.

If time permits in this upcoming year, I plan on starting a DevLog to track and document my progress with the app's development lifecycle.

In my free time, I also like to participate in Open Source projects as you will see below in the projects I'm actively working on.

## Travel

Ever since I was young, I've loved exploring new places and different cultures. I grew up bilingual, went to uni in the USA, and constantly travel every chance I get. This year I travelled to:

• 🇬🇧 London, U.K. (For a football match of course :P)
• 🇦🇪 Dubai, U.A.E
